Sandy was called to the Malaysian Bar on 9 November 2018 and has since built a practice that blends professionalism with a personable touch.
She has hands-on experience in a wide range of litigation matters, including contractual and land disputes, debt recovery, tort claims, admiralty, insider trading, trademark infringement, insolvency, and cases under the Housing Development (Control and Licensing) Act 1966. Sandy is also well-versed in family law, where her empathy and practical approach help clients navigate sensitive situations with confidence.
Beyond the courtroom, Sandy enjoys helping businesses and individuals with corporate and commercial matters. She has advised on various matters such as shareholders’ rights and agreements, company liquidation and reinstatement, equity requirements for CIDB and MOF licenses, as well as legal due diligence for acquisitions, corporate listings on Bursa Malaysia (LEAP and ACE markets), and restructuring exercises.
She is equally comfortable with conveyancing work, having managed perfection of transfer and charge for prestigious developments in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, subsale transactions involving residential and commercial properties, palm oil plantations, and property transfers for companies in liquidation.
